June 2019 is said to be the release of the next major update to Apple’s iPhone and iPad operating system, iOS 13, but September 2019 will be the release of the public version of iOS 13. As we get closer to WWDC 2019, rumors are arising on what to expect from iOS 13.
According to Macworld, “owners of the iPhone 6s and SE and iPad mini 4 are in for a nasty surprise”. The devices hinted to miss out on the iOS 13 update might be iPhone 5s and iPad mini 2 with the iPhone SE, 6, 6 Plus, iPad mini 3, and iPad mini 4 still in question. Here are some of the latest leaks on new features and changes to design.
- Volume Pop-Up is gone and rumored to be more sleek and minimized.
- Safari is getting MAJOR improvements in speed and efficiency.
- Split view for Safari and Apps on iPhone
- Siri improvements, less intrusive interface and Siri suggestions in Messages App
- Merging MacOS and iOS, that is ability to run MacOS apps on the iPad and vice-versa.
Check out more possible updates. We will soon find out this summer if any pan out or if they’re just wishful thinking.
